Godsclaw passage for example is ripe with resources, close to good thralls and close to an obelisk. The purges are pretty good too, you get lots and lots and lots of juicy thralls coming your way, nordheimers. 2.Easily my favorite spot outside the northern highlands. Near the Hand of the Maker is really good for single player. If you're concerned about resource spread, most of the North has high amounts of iron and coal. The bobcats give thick hide, and at the dungeon you have easy access to Black Ice, Brimstone and Crimson Lotus, as well as all the gossamer and silk from the spiders at that dungeon.
